Hire the Hall

Warcop Parish Hall is available to hire. 

The flexible accommodation includes a large main hall linked by a serving hatch to a well-equipped kitchen. We also have a meeting room for smaller scale events, such as meetings.

There is a large carpark.

The hall is fully DDA compliant, with disabled access, disabled toilet facilities and an integrated hearing loop in the main hall. Hirers can hire the main hall or the meeting room separately, but for events such a parties serving alcohol – it is a requirement that the whole building is hired.

cost of hire

The hall and meeting room can be hired on either an hourly basis or for a 3-hourly basis at a reduced rate. There is also a reduced rate for local hirers and charities. Full details can be found in the Hire Charges document.

the main hall

Our main hall is a light airy space, with windows at each end and a sprung wooden floor – ideal for dance classes. The hall is regularly used for exercise classes, children’s parties, funeral teas, conferences, church services, theatre productions, exhibitions, the remote cinema and occasionally for wedding receptions. 100 can be comfortably seated at tables, more if the chairs are arranged in rows.

The main hall offers projection facilities with an integrated sound system – there is a small additional fee for this. There are 18 large tables and 100 chairs in the store room, available for use.

the meeting room

This is an ideal room for smaller events, holding a maximum of 30 people if chairs are arranged in rows. The 6 tables can be arranged in board room style to seat 16 people.

The room has a sink and a projector is available, if required.

the kitchen

The kitchen is included in the cost of the hire of the hire of either the main hall or meeting room.

Equipment includes an instant hot-water boiler, cooker with oven and 6-ring hob, fridge, freezer, microwave and a catering dishwasher.

The hall can be hired by using the online Hallmaster booking system shown below. The online booking calendar is below and from there you can complete your booking.

The booking process.

• Check that the main hall or meeting room are available and select your preferred date/time to proceed.

• The system will automatically add a 15-minute buffer to the start and end of your booking.

• Complete the booking and you will receive an email confirming your provisional booking.

• Hallmaster will require you to create a login with a password, within the booking process

• Once the booking has been checked by our Booking Secretary, the booking will be confirmed by email with an estimate of the hire charge.

• Our Booking Secretary may contact you if any details require clarification.

• An invoice for payment will be issued to you by email.
